It's great for this fall season, it's super simple but packed with flavour! It is also meal-prep friendly, you can keep it in your fridge for up to 4 days. Even when you reheat it, it tastes just as fresh and as good as when you first make it.

LOADED SWEET POTATO | KEI'S KOOKBOOK

Hi everyone & welcome back to my blog!

I am someone who likes to change up my diet, just for some excitement you know lol
I have tried in the past to go vegan but I just find it slightly painful, for my stomach and my bank account too. So I found a really good medium, I am a Flexi-vegetarian, which basically means plant-based but with occasional meats. In other words, you could say a vegetarian that cheats here and there haha.

In light of this, I have been trying to create more exciting veggie dinners! I am a foodie as you know, I don't compromise on flavour for the sake of 'gainz', sorry but I cannot get rid of my seasoning/sauces. So when I saw this recipe The Body Coach's Instagram, I was super excited to try it! Plus it only took 15 minutes and tasted amazing!

Click here for the full recipe: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1944438405630086

Alternatively: https://www.thebodycoach.com/blog/loaded-sweet-potato-skins-164.html

Let me know if any of you guys try it out!

MY TOP DRUGSTORE FOUNDATIONS | BEAUTY

Hello beautiful people and welcome back to my blog! Today i'm back with a beauty post, it really be hard out here in these streets for a dark skin sister like myself. Finding the right foundation for a good price can be a struggle, because where i live most drugstores aren't acquainted with the fenty forty shades life. So most of the time i have to get high end when my pocket is low end. However, God heard my prayer and a couple of brands came through with some dark skinned shades!

L'Oreal True Match - Shade 10W - Deep Golden (swatch closer to my wrist)

this is almost a perfect match to my skin, the consistency and coverage is overall great! I only wear make up on occasions so in terms of longevity, I couldn't accurately say how long it lasts.

Overall rating: 8/10

Revlon Colorstay - Shade 410 - Cappuccino

Back in the day this was my first ever liquid foundation and it was absolutely amazing! when i tried it now after maybe 5 years , it was still good but it didn't match my skin like before, i used the same colour as before (Mahogany) but i found that it was slightly ashy. So i decided to go a shade down to Cappuccino and weirdly that suited my skin a lot better, but it still was not that brand i remembered back in the day. it was good but it does not suit my skin as well as L'Oreal.

Overall rating: 6/10

Hope you guys enjoyed, until you next time!

BATTLE OF THE SETTING SPRAYS | BEAUTY

Hello + welcome back to my blog,

Today's post is going to be a battle of the setting sprays! Since discovering the magic of setting sprays, I have been on a quest to find the best one. But before we get into it, let me just briefly explain what setting spray does. Setting sprays help your make up stay in tack all day. Back in the day, before these guys were even a thing, people (including myself) would use hairspray to do the trick but we thank God those days are over. Anyway enough definitions now onto the review ...

NYX MATTE FINISH

So first off we have the NYX Matte finish setting spray (it is also available in a dewy finish).

Price: £7

So the description says it is "For that fresh make up look that lasts NYX Professional Makeup Makeup Setting Sprays are lightweight and comfortable while working hard to make sure your makeup stays put."

MY VERDICT

PROS: I really do like this spray, it's super light weight and it really does make your dewy foundation dry Matte. It also has makes my skin feel hydrated, weird right? But it really does. It's super affordable and easy to get your hands on.

CONS: It doesn't really have the long lasting effect, it doesn't last the whole day. It lasted about 4 hours until I started to notice that I needed to powder my face again.

Overall rating: 6.5/10

URBAN DECAY ALL NIGHTER SPRAY

Price: £23.50

What Urban Decay say about the spray " ... weightless spray to give your makeup serious staying power. All Nighter Setting Spray keeps makeup looking gorgeous for up to 16 hours — without melting, fading or settling into fine lines."

MY VERDICT

PROS: It does what it says! It last you all night and day! I have to say it is so good. It literally locks your makeup into place. Urban decay did not come to play! I have to say I am all the way here for this product! Yes Yes and Yes!

CONS: the price is a little steep, but you can expect that for a high end product. The initial smell when you spray it is a bit vodka like but it does fade away almost instantly.

Overall rating: 9.5/10

So there you have it guys, my review on the setting sprays! I hope you found this useful!

Until next time!

NEW SKINCARE ROUTINE | BEAUTY

Hello guys and welcome to my first ever skincare post! I have always had pretty decent skin, with he odd break out here and there. I've never really had a skincare routine, I would do one for about a week and then stop. However, I am determined to make the effort to do a daily routine forever lol!

I went to The Body Shop to get some products for my skin. I have super sensitive dry skin so I have to be soo careful about what I use on it. So I had a little consultation with one of the skincare specialists, and here are the products she recommended:

ALOE (VERA) CLEANSER

According to the body shop it is a comforting rich cream cleanser moisturises and gently cleanses sensitive skin. Melt away impurities and reveal skin that feels clean, refreshed and calm.

ALOE (VERA) TONER

This is used to "gently tone, prime and refresh your skin with our soothing toner. Aloe effectively removes residual impurities, to refresh and clarify sensitive skin"

TEA TREE EXFOLIATOR

"Squeaky Clean Scrub is a daily facial exfoliator perfect for blemished skin."

What I like about this product so far is that the little micro beads is that they are really small, so it doesn't have that tough feeling on your skin. The smell is a little strong for me, but I just don't like the smell of tea tree anyway so that's probably why I don't like it that much.

Ok so we are about to get real up close and personal on this blog. Here are a few pictures of my problem areas, I have dark circles around my eyes, especially in my inner corners, some uneven skin and black heads here and there.

So far the products do make my skin feel really nice and soft after applying them but obviously it's too early for any major results, as it's only been a week. I will do an update in 4 weeks to see if there are any changes in my skin.

Hope you guys were inspired! See you guys soon for an update!

STYLING PUFFER JACKETS

Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog,

In light of the AW season, it's now time to find your winter coat and this type of coat we are looking at today is quite the coat. It is the infamous 'Puffer/Padded Jacket', it has been transformed from the 'man's not hot' roadman jacket, to a high fashion staple piece.

I was always a bit sceptical about looking like a roadman in a puffer/padded jacket, but when you pair it with the right things, it really does work! It looks super fashionable and it keeps you warm, it's literally the best of both worlds!

Here are a few pictures* of different ways other people have styled this jacket. I personally really like all of the ways the jacket has been styled, but I'd love to know which one you like the most, leave a comment below!

Ps. don't be afraid to check out the menswear puffer jackets! especially if you are looking for a longline or oversized fit!

Here are some links to places where you can get some really nice, good quality and affordable puffer jackets.

Urban Outfitters
ASOS
Zara
New Look
North Face
Bershka

PUMA X FENTY CLEATED CREEPER | COPP OR DROP?

*

Class is in session, bad gal rih rih is back and badder than ever, just over a week ago Rihanna kick started this new term with a whole new creeper collection, the cleated creeper. Guys I have recently jumped back on the trainer/sneaker craze wave, and these creepers are giving me all kinds of life.

I went to Office to try these bad boys on and ahhhhh they are so comfy and girl they give you the extra lift you need! .. Are you struggling to get the jar at the back of the cupboard? Don't worry Fenty got you, just pop them cleated creepers on and Bob is your uncle or should I say Rihanna is your aunty haha.

They cleated creepers come in two colours black and brown (£125), but they also have the ankle strap cleated creeper which comes in a cream colour, a black/purple and the classic black and white (£150). I am loving both but my bank account won't allow me so I am planning to get the black ankle straps because they are extra and I love a bit of extraness haha!

They are also pretty easy to get your hands on, you can buy them in Footlocker, JD, Asos, Office and a bunch of popular sneaker stores.

So what's the verdict? are the cleated creepers one to copp (buy) or drop? My verdict = COPP!

Well I hope you guys liked my copp or drop, trainer review! see you in my next post!
